The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, the Korea Information Society Agency and the Korea Network Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the `` Business Group '') announced on the 27th that they have completed the 'Korean Wave and Medical Content Based Network Equipment Project' in Indonesia.

The key point is to distribute the contents provided by EBS to Indonesian farming and fishing villages using future network leading test network (Koren, KOREN) and domestic wireless communication and computing technology. 

In July, the project began building wireless broadband networks in Indonesia's rural areas, including the Bosca Observatory and Chillilin High School. The technologies used are TV Whitespace (TVWS) and Wi-Fi Bridge. TVWS is a technology that provides high-speed Internet using broadcast idle frequencies. 

The Wi-Fi Bridge delivers multiple waves at one frequency without interference. Long distance and high speed communication is possible by transmitting radio waves by focusing on one side Both TVWS and Wi-Fi Bridges carry more than 10 km of radio waves. TVWS devices were provided by Innonet and Sawwave provided Wi-Fi Bridge.
