The city announced on the 28th that it will provide camping users with information on camping environment such as fine dust, temperature and humidity by installing LED signboards at Ipo Camping Site.

This service was hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and was sponsored by the Korea Radio Promotion Association, which participated in the '2017 Public Service Cooperation Project to Support Safety and Welfare of Local Governments.' A total of 50 million won was invested, including 15 million won.

Since the opening of Yeoju-si Ipobo Camping Site, there have been complaints about the camping site being monotonous because there is no complaint about the support of free Wi-Fi service and no environmental information such as fine dust, temperature and humidity.

A city official said, “When free public Wi-Fi service is launched, it is expected to reduce the communication costs of visitors and provide more convenient and safe camping by providing information on the surrounding environment of camping sites.”
